Are you an accomplished and experienced back end developer looking for remote work possibilities and varied work responsibilities?

We are looking for a full-time Lead Developer/Scrum Master for a permanent position to join our growing international team.

Your role and key responsibilities:

As a Lead Developer/Scrum Master you will be an important member of our core development team. Furthermore, we are looking for a technical ‘right-hand person’ to the product owner leading our product squad.

Your work will consist of the continuous development of Custobar’s innovative, world-class Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Marketing Automation tool. This back end development focused role is very hands-on, and consists of at least the following:

• developing software to support data integrations

• delivering product features

• supporting the platform with bug fixes, etc.

• helping the product owner in sprint planning, prioritisation, retros, dailys, and so on

And most of all, delivering first class technical solutions to make our customer’s lives easier and helping colleagues in other squads navigate the product in our low threshold, ‘there are no silly questions’ work culture.

Our expectations for you to be successful in this role:

• A minimum of 8  years of professional Python experience

• A real-world understanding of MVC paradigm and containerised services

• Good understanding of PostgreSQL, Django, and Elasticsearch

• Familiarity with test-driven development

• A curious mindset (there are no stupid questions!)

• Willingness to learn and a go-getter attitude

• Fluent communication skills in English

We consider it an advantage if you have experience in:

• Docker, Kubernetes & Helm

• Clickhouse

• Data engineering and analytics

• Distributed environments

• Data security related issues

• Google cloud
