Platform6 is the startup house in the heart of Tampere, and home to over 60 early-stage startups, and more than 10 organizations and partners working to support the startups on their way to international expansion. 

We are looking for a new team member to lead our Ecosystem Coordination efforts. 

You’ll get to work with an international, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial core team on day-to-day operations, and influence the whole Tampere startup field’s future. While working for Platform6, you will be in the middle of one of the fastest-growing and most collaborative startup ecosystems in the Nordics!

What we have to offer:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and coordinate the regional startup ecosystem, related networks and startup community oriented activities.

• Facilitating meetings between relevant organizations and actors, and organizing visits.

• Connecting the networks to Platform6 and to other growth ecosystems.

• Taking ownership of the cooperation between the startup community, the city of Tampere and other relevant actors, on the regional startup ecosystem matters.

• Coordinating the operational activities of the startup-alliance.

• Developing regional startup matchmaking services, both digital and physical.

• Facilitating networking trips promoting the internationalization of regional early-stage startup companies.

• Collaboration with activities organized in Tampere related to attracting startups and startup residence permits services.

What we expect from you:

• Previous experience with startups

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Finnish

• Being a good networker and matchmaker

• Ability to work from Platform6 premises (Åkerlundinkatu 8, Tampere)
