Penneo started with three people who had the ambition of reducing the hassle of getting documents signed by delivering a digital signature platform. Then, we evolved into a set of solutions for automating workflows related to client onboarding (KYC), signing, and document management.

Following our listing on Nasdaq Copenhagen Main Market in April 2022, we are now, more than ever, in a position to execute our European expansion strategy and scale our operations to maximize value to our existing and future customers.

Do you want to be part of it?

We are now hiring a Corporate Communication Manager who will ensure the development of Penneo’s corporate and financial communication activities towards the investors and analysts. This is a critical role in ensuring objective, streamlined and continuous written communication with a high level of integrity. You will report directly to our CEO, Christian Stendevad.

The position is full-time, based in Copenhagen.

What would be your responsibilities?

For our Corporate Communication Manager we foresee the following responsibilities, but you'll have the opportunity and freedom to influence and define them with us.

  • Take the lead on and draft financial reports in coordination with internal stakeholders - from building and describing the key message to board approval.

  • Supporting, operating and developing the Corporate Communication ‘wheel of year’.

  • Supporting and initiating the continuous development of the Investor Relations office and professionalization hereof - E.g. ESG reporting, roadshow presentations.

  • Ensure development, compliance and continuous updating of the Investor Relations website.

  • Drafting press releases and preparing communication plans for PR events.

  • Drafting Investor Relations presentations.

  • Sparring to CEO and CFO on Investor Relations related topics.

We expect you to:

  • Be a structured communication professional with financial and business acumen and preferably with experience from SaaS environments.

  • Have minimum 2/3 years of experience in communication activities towards the investors and analysts and a relevant education as Business Administration or similar.

  • Thrive in high-paced environments with a lot of work across departments.

  • Enjoy building relationships across the organization.

  • Have the ability to firmly drive longer processes with multiple stakeholders e.g. the life cycle of an annual report or Annual General Meeting.

  • Have good communications skills in both writing and numbers.

  • Master oral and written communication in English, as well in Danish.

How will this role progress?

It is important to us to be as transparent as possible and to allow you to level expectations for the role. Therefore, we share our impact description in advance and would love your thoughts about it in your cover letter.

During the 1st month, you will:  

  • Be onboarded and mentored by your team to get comfortable with the new position and with the company culture.

  • Participate in Penneo’s onboarding program for all new Penneos.

  • Develop expertise that relates to IR and communication strategy in Penneo and SaaS in general.

  • Have matured knowledge of how our customers use the product.

  • Build an understanding of our strategy to its core.

  • Have a clear overview of your collaborators and stakeholders. 

  • Become acquainted with our reporting structures and processes.

  • Meet our external stakeholders for introductions.

  • Follow-up and have feedback sessions with your manager who will beside you during your development journey.

Within 6 months, you will:  

  • Have proven and developed yourself as a competent Corporate Communication manager that can own and execute quarterly reporting processes, ad hoc company announcements.

  • Assist in internationalizing the IR related PR strategy.

  • Be driving the implementation and development of our ESG agenda and reporting framework.

  • Have kickstarted the process and organization of the AGM for 2023.

  • Follow-up and have feedback sessions with your manager to ensure the right development.

Within 12-24 months, you will:  

  • Show evident leadership skills in successfully executing complex IR processes such AGMs and annual reportings with multiple stakeholders and ready for an expanded responsibility area.

  • Firmly lead critical IR and corporate communication projects and has full ownership and contact PR operations.

  • Lead the development of Penneo’s capital market communication strategy and the initiatives hereunder.

About our interview process:

We know that going through a recruitment process can be pretty demanding sometimes, so we want you to know what to expect:

  • Call with a member of our Talent Acquisition Team (~30m): introduction to the company, mutual initial expectation leveling.

  • Call with our CEO, Christian, as Hiring Manager for this position(~45m): Getting to know each other, assessing for mutual fit, introduction to the impact and goals for the position.

  • Collaboration round (~1h): Together with two team members, you will discuss your approach to a problem scenario to assess collaboration fit and ways of working.

  • The practicalities (~45m): Closing talk with our CEO, Christian  agreeing about compensation, starting date, and all other practical details.

All of our interviews can be conducted remotely, scheduled via email and Google Meet for audio/video calls if you prefer.
