About Forloop

Forloop enables Data Scientists and Analysts to leverage external data (data outside the company), to have an information advantage on their markets. Used today in Real Estate (to price properties), Logistics (capacity planning) and Retail (adapt to trends).

Forloop was founded in 2021, and is based Stockholm and Prague with a remote-friendly culture. Backed by renowned investors including APX, Rockstart Ventures and Depo Ventures and angels.

With fresh funding, we are now looking to expand our team across product, marketing and sales. Here you will work with an ambitious team with backgrounds in data, machine-learning and startups. And now, you can be part of the journey!

About the role

You will be an integral part of building the foundation of our go-to-market and community journey. You’ll head up our data scientist relations efforts and will have a big impact from day one.

Forloop has today two growth models: i) a bottoms up approach focusing on end-users (data scientists and analysts) and ii) a top-down approach focusing on the buyer (CTO/CDO/CIO). This role is focused on the first model.

Together with the founding team, you will define the strategy for how we’ll grow our community of data scientists. You'll be responsible for how we reach, teach, and empower data scientists all over the world. You are not shy about attending meetings with early-adopter customers. You will work closely with the product team ensuring that our product is easy to understand and use.

What we look for

We believe you have / are:

• A background as a data scientist or business intelligence analyst.

• Passionate about data, ETL, data science and the broader data infrastructure field.

• Not shy of writing content, engaging with insights and positioning yourself as an expert in the field. This is also a unique opportunity to build your personal thought leadership brand.

• Take pride in being able to zoom out and see the big picture.

• You love engaging with people and understanding their needs, frustrations, and ambitions.

• Have a range of skills and are excited about getting stuck in, doing what’s necessary today while also reserving energy for thinking big.

• You are comfortable with ambiguity and like solving fuzzy problems.
