About the Role

As a Supply Chain & Production Intern at WasteHero, you will have an essential role in bringing our products to production. You will have direct contact with the production factories. You will be able to challenge yourself by optimizing existing production processes.

You will:

• Get new products into production

• Optimize delivery time and logistics

• Work independently with own responsibilities

• Work closely with engineers in the sensor product team

• Work closely with the sales department

• Take responsibility for big deliveries and deliver on time

• Optimize and automate PO system

Responsibilities

To be a good fit for this role, you should enjoy working with production of advanced electrical products and other similar products. 

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Update/improve existing NPI processes and documents

• Update/improve existing SOP processes and documents

• Prepare needed data packages (PCB files, BOM lists etc.)

• Create PO’s 

• Do BOM cost-down

• Do inventory management

• Communicate with manufacturers and suppliers globally

About You

You are a curious, self-motivated and communicative person who has a strong desire to learn and is ready to join a scale-up with few formal procedures and limits. 

• Studying or have studied in the field of supply chain, value chain management, logistics, production, electrical engineering, or similar background

• Able to to get a product from idea to a mass-scale production

• Have good knowledge about supply chain and logistics 

• It will be an advantage if you have basic electrical/hardware understanding e.g. knows how to read PCB design

What you need to know

The internship is unpaid and full-time to fit with your University's requirements. The internship runs for five to six months, depending on your needs.

The start date is flexible and can be arranged to fall on the 1st of January, February or March.
