We are looking for an experienced senior mechanical engineer who can take lead in the mechanical design of our drone system solution, to bring it to the next level. Responsibilities

• Maintaining our portfolio of mechanical products

• Leading the mechanical design of our product line

• Ensuring products are compatible with market requirements and specifications

• Developing the next generation of our drone-in-a-box

• Participating in customer deliveries and product tests

• Participating in Research and technology partnerships with universities and companies.

• Materials and Assembly Methods in Mechanical Design

• Manufacturing and Supplier Contacts

• Close collaboration with Systems and Software team, to ensure function and robustness of the overall product

• Improve the current production procedures

• Maintenance of Production Documentation

About you

We imagine the successful candidate comes with

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical engineering with strong relevant R&D knowledge and several years of experience

• You easily get new ideas for improvements and want to both design and build new products.

• You are a doer that want to get stuff done

• You can see yourself working in an innovative start-up

• CAD knowledge, preferably SolidWorks

• Experience with risk and design assessment like FMEA

• Agile and rapid-prototyping mindset

• At least fluent in English, verbal/written

• Can work from our office in Skanderborg or Odense

• Can start working with us from August/September 2022

• Loves a dynamic workday where ideas and changes occur and are implemented fast.

• Preferably, you have a background as a skilled worker or experience from relevant practical work, where you can build things with your own hands
