As a Venture Client Business Developer, you are responsible for driving development work with our partnering companies. The goal is to ensure the success of individual projects between selected business units and startups, as well as develop long-term venturing strategies.
In other words, you would play a key role in bringing top startups and the needs of industrial companies together in a structured, result-oriented way. You will need to combine your excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills to thrive in the global, fast-paced startup environment and complex industrial world. This role requires grasping new large abstract concepts fast, breaking them into smaller understandable pieces, and demonstrating exceptional project management skills. Typically, a strong candidate has experience of 2+ years in consultancy, account management, or project management.
Your daily tasks will include but are not limited to
Working side-by-side with corporate venturing and innovation teams from 1-2 global, large industrial companies to shape and execute their venturing strategy in a result-oriented way that scales and creates value
Driving subject-matter expertise and business development projects with multinational and diverse teams within the companies you work with
Engaging with the global startup ecosystem, analyzing and vetting startup deal flow, and synthesizing solution space according to predetermined business needs
Taking part in developing our methodology to ensure scalability of Foundry operations across the globe.

In this role, you report to the CEO of Combient Foundry, Lauri Lehtovuori. This is a full-time position. The position is preferably located in Helsinki, Finland, or Stockholm, Sweden, but we are open for remote roles in European time zones.
