About the role

You will become part of building the next generation of waste management. As a Data Scientist intern you must be passionate about cutting-edge technologies such as Internet-of-things and deep tech. Your assignments would consist of helping in improving the design and scalability of our models to calculate the ideal time for waste collection, determine sensor behavior, investigate customer data, and other similar valuable features.

Responsibilities

• Join a strong group of experienced developers  

• Assist in develop monitoring tools to clean data outputs 

• Create and deploy data-science project as a microservice 

• Implement data pipelines

• Investigate, analyze and help in building stream processing and time-series analysis

• Work closely with hardware and software teams in order create best possible solution

About you

You are a curious, self-motivated and communicative person who has a strong desire to learn and ready to join a startup with few formal procedures and limits. You should be motivated to combine your logical thoughts  of design with the art of programming

• Studying or have studied a computer science degree 

• Understands working with relational databases (PostgreSQL)

• Interested in machine learning and deep technologies

• Good Python understanding

• Able to investigate issues in our database, and present weekly reports to management  

• Ability to deploy your solution as a microservice

What you need to know

The internship is unpaid and full-time to fit with your University's requirements. The internship runs for five to six months, depending on your needs.

The start date is flexible and can be arranged to fall on the 1st of January, February or March.
