About the role:

At blankt, we strongly believe in “best ideas win” so forget about hierarchies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to take on a wide range of technical challenges by joining a small team of passionate pioneers driven by the ambition to develop the go-to platform for art creation on the internet (more on this in the "About the company" section). As a fullstack developer at blankt, some of your responsibilities will be to collaborate with the CTO and tech team to come up with innovative technical solutions, help solve both front-end and back-end related problems, and ideate directly with the CTO on how to increase the performance and user experience of our platform. Lastly, please note that this is primarily a full-time, permanent position.

Skills & Requirements

• AWS (S3, dynamoDB, lambda functions, cloud formation)

• Great problem-solving skills

• Experience with serverless compute, building APIs, and constructing performant algorithms.

• Previous programming experience, we believe a great developer is language and framework agnostic, therefore experience with our current frameworks is not required, but meritable, these include:

  • React JS

  • Node JS

  • Express

  • Typescript

  • FabricJS

  • Figma prototyping

About blankt

blankt is a design platform where artists submit art and anyone, without any experience, can then use the art to create their own design. Like a Canva but for art, by artists, and the best part is that artists get royalties whenever someone uses their art.

Although we haven't launched yet, we’ve still achieved great things that make the blankt team very excited about our future. Some of them are:
