That's right, Goldilocks, everyone says that starting a new business is difficult and you must be brave. But those are just words. In reality, the days are long, and the nights can be too. Yet still, we beat the drum, carry on, and accept the odds.

Launching ContentAvenue is not about being overtly risky or crazy. Instead, the business and insight are simply too good to ignore. Every day our company's vision guides our actions and ignites enthusiasm. Still, there are uncertainties to navigate and tasks to be done.

At ContentAvenue, we believe focusing on our strengths and using our energy wisely will lead to successful days and nights. Our team comprises talented and highly experienced software developers and domain experts in the writing and publication industry. Most importantly, we trust each other.

For this reason, we seek an experienced business developer with similar values and quality expectations. Your primary function will be to collaborate with our CEO and Editor n chief weekly.

Ideally, you can offer 10 hours or more per week to start.

We might be a good match if you have a range of skills and experience but know your strengths.

Your experience will include the following

• Domain expertise within one of our content writing tracks

• MSc. in life science or environmental science, engineering, medicine, or equivalent

  
  

• Established business development (5+ years) experience

• Entrepreneurship roles and activities, such as pitching or writing a business plan.

  
  

• Above average ability (clearly fluent) in English, both written and orally

  
  

  It will be considered an advantage if you have experience with

  • sales and market research tools and platforms (e.g., Hubspot)

  • adobe products and content management systems (CMS)

  • experience with SaaS sales or product development

  • communication, publication, and or journalism experience

  • fluent in Danish

    
    

Your responsibilities and progression

1. You will become familiar with and perform several tasks needing addressing. These tasks may range from basic administration to business plan development, writing, funding, networking, sales forecasting, market research, and sales activities.

2. As you become more familiar with the company vision, you will focus on your strengths and drive the company forward by carving out your space and assuming responsibilities.

• You are very comfortable communicating in English.

• You can take constructive feedback and know when to stand your ground regarding your domain and expertise.

• You have no problem working remotely and occasionally traveling to Aalborg or Northern Jutland for a face-to-face meeting.

• You know that attending a meeting to share updates is a minimum requirement and that you must complete activities between meetings.

• Understand and be willing to undergo a trial period (Compensation for tasks completed in that time is negotiable).
