We are a tech startup with our team based in Singapore and Norway specializing in the use of VR technology for healthcare and medical training by use of gamification. We are looking for a mature head developer to lead the development of our proof-of-concept MVP to market ready product. Suitable candidate will be part of the founding team, leading and managing the entire development lifecycle. We don't use any C titles yet, but this may be a future CTO role.

Aside from strong technical experience and knowledge, you should ideally have start-up experience from a game company or a company using gamification technology, and strong client centric mindset.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise and manage development team, setting schedule and deliverable

• Set code standards and development protocol and recommend technical solutions

• Manage development roadmap and release

• Responsible for system architecture, technology stack and quality assurance

• Write and test source code, identify and prioritize improvement

• Contribute to the vision and inspire trust in the product

• Being the technical “go to” person

• Assist during capital raise rounds

Requirements:

• Minimum 5years experience as Technical or Engineering Manager / Head Developer from a gaming company or related industry using gamification

• Minimum BS in computer science with good technical knowledge from gameing or related industry 

• Having worked on game or software using gamification releases

• Problem-solving aptitude

• Deep interest in VR, XR and the metaverse and already exploring with your own VR glasses

• Deep understanding of tools and coding for gamification

• Experience working in startup environment is a plus

• Experience leading successful product development is a plus

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Excellent people skills is a plus
