We are looking for an application engineer to join our workforce. You will be assisting with the development and technical marketing of our next-generation power converters for a wide range of applications. You will be working on state-of-the-art technology, within a team with hands-on experience in the power electronics, IC design, and semiconductor process fabrication areas. You will contribute to the development of our business and presence through your technical background, communication skills, and market requirements understanding.
Responsibilities:
Technical marketing for our products and advising our customers on the best-suited solutions for their applications
Provide the product and applications training and technical advice needed to help our customers adopt our solutions on their platforms
Design and implement evaluation boards and application kits for our power converters
Develop technical literature for our solutions (product briefs, datasheets, and application notes)
Take part in product development and testing of our power converter solutions
Conduct competitive analyses with other products on the market
Gather and report market feedback and application needs and modifications to the research and development team
Participate in regional fairs and trade shows
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical engineering or equivalent
High level of understanding of power management circuits and systems (such as linear regulators, switch-mode power supply topologies, and charge pump circuits)
Good understanding of control systems, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and wireless power transfer (Preferred)
Good understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC design (Preferred)
Experience with PCB design, assembly, and experimental validation
Experience with technical writing and documentation
Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
