We are hiring: Academy Operations Lead

In order to support our ambitious goals, we are now looking for an Academy Operations Lead to take ownership of the whole student journey by leading two of our key functions: Student Recruitment and Career & Community. These two functions are responsible for selecting a growing number of students in our Academy while ensuring they have a good experience, and most importantly, land high-paying jobs fast.

You will be leading a team of 5-7 at first and your team’s targets will be connected to the following:

1. Student Recruitment: Ensuring our student recruitment goals (600+ students in 2023) are met i.e. filling our Academies with students in FI, SE, NL, DE, DK

2. International Outcomes: Complete ownership of job outcomes and P&L in our International Academy, i.e. graduates in SE, NL, DE, DK landing high-paying tech jobs after graduating

3. Local Outcomes: Ensuring our Academy graduates in Finland are well-prepared for our sales team to connect them with employers

4. Student Journey: Ensuring a great student experience across cohorts & geographies, from application to graduation

As the Academy Operations Lead, you get to apply your analytical, professional, creative, and social skills to improve the lives of hundreds of people while leading a team of ambitious professionals. Are you up for the challenge?

To achieve the above targets, you will work together with the team in:

• Managing and supporting a team of student recruiters, career growth specialists and community coordinators and ensuring the team KPIs are met

• Owning and optimizing the Student Recruitment process from an application to first day in the program

• Owning, leading and continuously improving the student experience by engaging, supporting, coaching and building up the confidence of hundreds of students across 5 countries in their job-seeking efforts

• Helping the students make stellar tech resumes, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters, and have a stronger online presence

• Organizing community events such as alumni sessions to better connect with the students and ensure their retention and engagement

• Building the portfolio of tech companies’ recruiters across Europe to directly connect students to work with them

• Introducing & implementing new tools to increase efficiency of your team

• Collaborating with our Tech and Operations teams to improve the training programs based on your valuable insights obtained directly from the customers

  
  

What makes you a great candidate?

• You have experience working in operations, community management, recruitment, or in other people-focused functions

• You love to work with people and are passionate about working with international talent and enabling social integration. Simply put, you are excited to see the immediate social impact of your work!

• You’re strategic & analytical, but also extremely hands-on. 

• You have a growth mindset and a natural problem-solving ability with a bias towards action.

• Team leadership experience is a plus, with the “know how” to build and nurture a team, and develop effective ways-of-working.

• You have excellent verbal and written communication in English.
