Then come join us as Café Volunteer! We are building a new Volunteer Café Team that will run our café by serving coffee and creating fun and engaging events in the café to attract new members and increase community engagement at Station.

Objectives of the Café Team

1. Run the café by serving coffee and greating visitors in the house.

2. Plan, execute, and evaluate events in the café.

3. Communicate about the café and its actvities on SoMe, seek feedback and experiment with different formats.

4. Increase community engagement by creating engaging social events that connect people (incl. newbies) across programmes, organizations, and projects.

What’s involved?

• Helping to fulfill the café team objectives by focusing on tasks that you will personally choose based on your professional interest.

• Attend bi-weekly meetings (meetings occur in afternoon hours and are generally 1 hour long).

• We are looking for the right person to commit 2-5 hours per. week. There are no set hours, so it is very compatible with your own schedules.

• Be available to help man the café during daytime (9-17) for shifts of 2-3 hours.

Station is an interdisciplinary movement of students working to create societal change.

Our mission is to leverage the curiosity and engagement of students across institutions of higher education and build bridges to public, private, and civic communities. We do this in three ways:

The organization is housed in the former Frederiksberg Police Station, which we have transformed into a state-of-the-art powerhouse, where students meet across disciplines and can involve committed partners, including startups, researchers, companies, foundations and public entities.
