Job Description

You will assist in our production of animated 2D and 3D content, design and produce graphics for web and print, and create original hand-drawn artwork.

You are probably in the last part of your studies within design, illustration, animation, or something similar, with strong hand-drawing and 2D design skills.

The position is for 12-20 hours pr. week, depending on your availability. We are flexible with where and when you work, but we need you in our office at least one day a week.

What You'll Do

Your primary tasks will be:

• To draw 2D characters and artwork, and prepare them for animation, including masking, rigging etc.

• Draw comic strips and small cartoons to convey knowledge in a humoristic way, with the business audience as the main target.

• Lay out graphical material for print, including design of graphical components, making icons, editing pictures etc.

• Set up text, graphical material, drawings, videos etc. for use on the web.

• To a smaller extent editing video and audio for film production.

Needed Qualifications

Skills

• Advanced ability to draw by hand and illustrate abstract concepts in an imaginative yet easy-to-understand way (traditional hand-drawing/digital version of hand-drawing).

• Advanced ability to create character art for “cut-out” style animation (vectorial – possibly made in illustrator).

• Advanced ability to design & create intuitive and easy-to-read iconography and infographics for educational material and interactive experiences.

• Ability to create (and adapt to pre-existing) art styles and keep to them consistently throughout your work.

• Ability to complete tasks quickly and in high quality independently and in a team.

• Basic ability of video-editing for educational material, both interactive and non-interactive (Layout/composition, flow, animation & transitions).
