We’re looking for a Copywriter for our Blog to join our Marketing team! You will be reporting to our Head of Marketing, Roman, and be the fourth member of the small but highly ambitious and reactive team. Expected work hours -> 5-10 hours/ week
As a Copywriter (Blog), your main duty will be to focus on the production of engaging and relevant long-form content like website blogs. Most new members start off with a single simple task before diving in deep into our operations, and they are supported along the way by the rest of the team.
You’ll be planning and executing blog content and planning for our community and relevant audience and working closely with our Head of Marketing, Website Lead, and briefly with the rest of the teams.
To be successful in this role, you need to have a combination of excellent communication skills, fresh ideas, and a get-sh*t-done attitude. You don’t need heavy prior experience in copywriting.
Producing blog-worthy content on relevant topics at least once a month
Conduct SEO optimization analytics of the website content together with the Website Lead
Plan, develop and execute a marketing strategy to promote the content together with Head of Marketing and Content Lead
Measure the success of your campaigns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must.
A creative mindset and ready to test various ideas
Passion for copywriting or at least willingness to learn
People skills; you’ll need to manage a lot of different stakeholders in this role (potentially working with a full marketing team)
BONUS if you have at least a basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). If not, we’ll teach you :)
Last but not least, we’re looking for someone who is an open-minded and humble team player, ready to try new things and approaches. We're not competing against our team members, but sharing knowledge and really helping each other. Communication is key in this role as it is a volunteer position. Any and all unavailability is understandable if communicated with the team in a straightforward manner
This is a great position if you want to gain specific experience in copywriting and see what it could look like working in a startup environment (an ES is a light simulation of a startup).
