At Artistry we aim to make life easier for independent artists and musicians. We provide all the tools that artists need from releasing music to marketing it. Artistry is an early stage start-up backed by an experienced team and advisory board. We are at the product development stage so you will have a front row seat to see how a startup works.

We are looking for a full-stack software developer to join our growing team. You will design, create new features and make decisions about the architecture. Work is very independent and we have a very low hierarchy so you can code in peace and choose the technologies with the team.

As a part of Artistry, you will:

• Work together with a small, tightly-knit team

• Work with your teammates to pick the right technologies

• Write code that is clean and well structured

• Write tests for your code if needed

• Take responsibility for the team and the project, and have the vision and the drive to do more than just code

• Design and create sleek modern interfaces

We want you to be a skilled developer looking to constantly learn new things

You’re a hands-on developer who is deeply familiar with modern web technologies. You have:

• 3+ years of experience of a software developer role

• Experience of both frontend and backend development

• At least one full-stack web project in production that you have been working on

• Ability to adopt new software engineering technologies and methods

• Worked with multiple technologies (e.g. JavaScript, Scala or Clojure) or multiple domains within the same technology (e.g. frontend & backend)

• Fluent English and good communication skills

• Good collaboration skills: share what you learn, help others, learn from other developers and ask for help if needed.

Our current stack is TypeScript, React, node.js, express, MongoDB.

Artistry is a music oriented software so we are extra impressed if you have worked on some music related things. Having a music background helps to understand our customers needs but it is NOT necessary. Also mobile development experience is a plus.
