Who are we?
SustainLab is a value-driven start-up founded by professionals in sustainability and computer science. The product is a SaaS Sustainability Management platform that automates collection, processing and visualisation of sustainability data, to help companies spend less time on data-handling and more on accelerating change.
We are now looking to expand our team with a motivated Account Executive who is purpose driven, excited to join a company at an early stage, wants loads of responsibility and freedom to operate, and is ready to open doors and close deals.
Here are some things we need help with
There’s loads of flexibility to create a role you love. However, we’re looking for someone who wants to take on the challenge to be directly responsible for the expansion of our customer base. Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and build them into long-term profitable relationships. This includes:
Be the driving force for new commercial initiatives by approaching new clients and partners and create new business opportunities
Design and execute sales processes in close collaboration with Marketing and CEO
Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a prospect to securing a deal
Work with our partners to generate deals through them
Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
Continuously update the budget and financial plan
What we’re looking for
The Account Executive we’re looking for has a genuine passion for sustainability and really wants to create impact for our clients, our company and beyond. We believe that with the right motivation, you can learn anything, but here are some qualifications we’re looking for:
You have a commercial background as an Account Executive, or similar type of sales role
You have previous knowledge of direct sales, sales and channel management, and developing pricing strategies
You are a people person with strong communication skills and feel comfortable when you approach people via email, phone and face-to-face
You are competitive and go the extra mile to close a deal
You want to co-create the inclusive, agile and impact driven culture of our company as we grow
Spending your work time making the world a better place is important to you
You’re proficient in Swedish and English
