Our mission at Sooma is to solve one of the biggest problems in psychiatric and neurological care: access to care. We do this by providing a new tool for professionals to treat one of the most debilitating problems in the world.

What we are looking for: We want someone to take ownership of our content creation process and support other marketing activities. The job is based in Helsinki, Finland. The strengths of the person selected will define the final responsibilities. Your daily tasks may include —but are not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities: 

• Contribution to the daily marketing activities of the company. 

• Research industry-related topics and create topical content for the global audience of healthcare professionals.

• Contact industry professionals and incorporate their views in blog posts and other content.

• Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize our content.

• Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement.

• Measure web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates)

• Update our websites as needed.

• Update promotional materials as needed.

• Organize and manage events, both online and in-person.

• Support other company processes as needed.

• Work according to industry, legal and Sooma compliance.

Requirements: 

• +3 years of proven work experience as a content creator, copywriter or similar role.

• Excellent writing and editing skills in English; other languages (German, French) are a plus.

• Hands-on experience with content management systems, newsletters and marketing automation tools (e.g. WordPress, HubSpot).

• Understanding of SEM, SEO and Social media advertising – preferably hands-on experience.

• Experience working with other tech stacks used by us (GA4, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Zoom) is a plus.

• Experience in event organization and management.

• Willingness to learn.

• Genuine interest in becoming an all-rounded marketing professional in the future.

• Work permit in Finland.

Good-to-haves:

• Understanding of the healthcare industry, pharma industry, or medical device industry.

• Experience working in international environments.
