Glint Solar is an Oslo based venture capital-funded startup accelerating the growth of solar energy using satellite data and machine learning. The world needs to increase the amount of solar energy to battle climate change. Both land-based, and increasingly, floating solar are growing at a tremendous rate. To further accelerate this development, we’re building world leading technology that identifies and analyzes potential project locations for our customers around the world. The team’s background includes data science, energy and management consulting. Our goal is to be the world’s leading solar site data provider. Are you ready to help us accelerate?

We are looking for creative and ambitious marketing interns who want to help change the solar industry. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an emerging industry while gaining global experience. This is a remote/Oslo-based part-time/internship where you will be executing and developing marketing/growth strategies together with the cofounders.

What you’ll do

You’ll be responsible for planning and building content creation on social media
Ensure marketing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Search Console) are up-to-date and being regularly used to analyze data and inform improvements in marketing campaigns
Conduct PPC keyword research
Assist the Business Development team with event planning logistics as needed
Manage monthly reporting and performance across all marketing channels
Participate in developing the marketing strategy and messaging for Glint Solar based on customer and market insights, and oversee its execution

Skills Needed

Digitally-oriented and performance-driven marketing student. Has experience in Google AdWords and Excel
A positive, proactive, business-minded, and “can do” approach
You are enthusiastic about tech and the renewable energy space
You enjoy a high pace and like to get things done
Strong communication skills and ability to engage with relevant stakeholders
Brings enthusiasm and creative thinking to the team
Available at least 8+ hours a week during the fall semester
