About the job

In this job, you will be designing the architecture of the future’s preferred check-out solution and helping set new standards for how to make and use financial products for both merchants and shoppers.

• Architect, build, and maintain high-quality, robust, and scalable React Native iOS / Android applications

• Implement pixel-perfect UI's that match designs

• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience

• Integrate third-party APIs

• Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality

• Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores

• Work with native modules when required

• Work with your fellow Developers, Quality Analysts, Project Manager, and Product Owner to fully understand the business requirements and assure that the project deliverables are fulfilling the requirements

• Collaborate with other team members using Scrum-based Agile methodologies.

• Perform code reviews to identify basic technical and logical errors

Your pitch

The drive and desire to make a difference is number one. Our wish list for your background mightseem long but if your willingness to learn is big this might weigh as heavy as having the perfect background fit. But in a dream scenario, this is what we might be looking for:

• 3+ years of professional experience working with React Native

• 5+ years of professional software development experience

• Have excellent English comprehension and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Be a good and open person (Seriously, this one is super important!)

Have a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Don't have a formal education? That's cool too, we're all about taking action. Show us what you’ve built!

Skillset

You can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?

• Firm grasp of React Native and the ever-growing React Native ecosystem

• Firm grasp of JavaScript, Typescript, and their nuances, including ES6+ syntax

• Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript/Typescript code

• Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming

• Rock-solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts

• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ, etc.

• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage

• Experiences with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha

• Project management tools like Jira, Trello, etc.

• Source control tools like Git, BitBucket, GitHub, etc.

• Documentation tools like Notion, Confluence, etc.

• Salary between 80k-150k THB a month depending on experience.

• Anyday is a registered BOI company and can support foreign nationals with a visa and work permit. (Pending BOI approval of candidate)

• You will work 100% remotely along with our existing team, but you are of course also welcome at the Chiang Mai office as much as you want.

• The office is stocked with drinks and snacks, as well as games for when you want to have some fun. (Outside of our daily work, of course!)

• We work within ICT office hours but are flexible to accommodate other schedules. (However, we may require attendance for key Scrum ceremonies, e.g. Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, etc.)

• We have a learning and development budget. The better you are, the better we are!

• You’ll earn paid vacation days each month.

• We schedule team-building events and retreats throughout the year in Thailand.

• The position is full-time.
