Ampersand associates is an Edtech start-up that exists to help our clients master innovation and transformation. Our clients are typically top performers within their fields, and we make them even better through education, digital learning products, and consulting.

Our services are tailored to the clients’ specific transformation needs but always within our three main areas of expertise: Innovation management, design and development, or transformation and change.

This is where you come in: we need a person with a fresh perspective on learning and a few years of experience with agile projects – and preferably within design and innovation.

You probably have a technical education (e.g. engineer) and enjoy disseminating your knowledge and insights – and you may tend to entertain people with how the world ACTUALLY works. Either way, you are passionate about getting people to learn new things, but we don’t necessarily require that you have direct teaching/training experience.

We want that you are good at what you do and are passionate about making other people good at it, too – then, we will teach you how to become awesome (or MORE awesome) at designing and delivering learning.

Position Summary

In this position, you will deliver learning through physical courses, provide consulting to our clients and participate in the design and development of digital learning solutions – films, games and other cool formats.

In addition, we expect you to engage in project and business development, as we are a start-up where we build our future direction at the intersection of our customers' needs and our people's core competencies. We aim to develop you into a senior role responsible for your subject matter area and client portfolio.

The position is full-time, with a base in DTU science park in Kgs. Lyngby. You will frequently be at our clients’ locations and teaching venues around Denmark and, to a smaller extent, worldwide.

What you'll be doing

Your primary tasks will be to design and deliver capability building within our three areas of expertise, but with a strong focus on agile design and innovation processes and project management of innovation. As a part of this responsibility, we will train you to effectively transfer knowledge to clients and provide you with mentoring, sparring and development support.

Your tasks will most likely include:

• Designing new courses and blended learning programmes within agile, design, and innovation project management for direct end-users and open course providers.

• Driving the digital content development within your subject area in close collaboration with our digital production team.

• Providing consulting to ensure our clients' success within your subject area, including advice, analysis, and tool development to ensure their success.

• Managing capability development projects and taking responsibility for following through with them.

• Writing proposals and developing projects for new clients.

• Helping to set the future direction of Ampersand associates, through product and business development.

What you need to be good at

Needed qualifications: You are…

• Holding a master-level education within design, innovation or engineering.

• Able to meet high expectations while working independently (we don’t micro-manage)

• Having hands-on experience in planning and scoping design or development projects

• A strong communicator in writing as well as verbally.

• Burning to become a world-class trainer and learning designer within agile, design and innovation project management.

• Having 2-5 years of hands-on experience with project management of agile design or development projects. Your role may have been that of project manager, scrum master, product owner/manager, agile developer or another agile responsibility.

• Interested in joining a start-up in the rapidly changing world of capability building – where topics like the metaverse, VR, 21st-century skills, digital innovation, and sustainability constantly challenge what we do and how we do it.

• Comfortable facilitating workshops and meetings across different professional fields.

• Fluent in English and Danish

Desired qualifications

• Experience in digitalisation or sustainability projects

• Agile certification(s), e.g. SCRUM master, product owner, PMP-agile etc.

• Experience with the agile frameworks SCRUM and SAFe

• Learning design or teaching experience

• Skills in sketching or graphical facilitation

• Working knowledge of design thinking, innovation management, or lean start-up
