Archr is an early stage impact startup founded in 2021 with a vision of making sustainability a default, by helping consumers globally make informed purchasing decisions. The startup has been part of two of SSE Business Lab’s programs, Ideate and Activate, where companies like Klarna and Voi also started their journey. So far, the first version of our unique platform has been launched and we are now looking to onboard a Chief Technology Officer to take Archr to new heights. 

The Chief Technology Officer at Archr will be responsible for building our solution from scratch and be part of recruiting a software engineering team that will assist in the development. The role includes playing a key role in the strategic planning for the company on how to develop our platform with its several features. This entails being creative, detail-oriented, flexible and having great problem-solving skills. Furthermore, this role offers an opportunity to become a co-founder together with the two other co-founders via vesting.

Requirements

• Strong technical experience, ideally within a scale-up / startup environment.

• Background / education in software engineering / computer science.

• Enjoys being hands-on and diving into the infrastructure, ideally with knowledge of Javascript and React.

• Database management skills.

• Being a fast-learner since this role involves many different types of software / technology tasks. 

• Have knowledge within the creation of API:s.

• Being able to work with cloud-based software such as AWS

Meriting

• Experience with recruitment to support the growth of the right team, thereby being able to verify competence.

• Lead developer, tech lead or CTO role experience.

• Experience with algorithms / machine learning.

• Set a vision for how our platform will be created and how technology will be used in the company, thereafter being a vital part in making it a reality.

• Being essential in recruiting the right software engineering team to assist you in the development of Archr’s solution. 

• Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

• Being creative and further developing our solution with associated sustainability framework / scale.
