As the Lead Data Analysts you are the key enabler securing the realization of business and customer value from analytics, data and models in Bintel products.  

We are in a scale up phase of the company and work in small crossfuntional teams, meaning that you will interact with sales, customer success, product owner, and backend engineers on a daily basis. Our team works with clear mission statements and well defined scopes and accountability. About the job

The Lead Data Analyst’s responsibility is to;

  • Collecting: ensuring the data we need is collected, cleaned and ingested into our data platforms.

  • Reviewing: ensuring the data makes sense. Do we have what we need?

  • Cleaning: Is there any bias in the data? 

  • Analyzing: working the data to generate actionable insights and inform/present for decision makers for roadmap and product development. 

  • Modeling: Analyzing the vast amounts of data generated by experiments and from production, and developing models we can use for optimization and further enhancements in line with Bintels solution vision.

  • Synthesizing: visualizing the data in a way that helps decision makers, such as Chief Product Officer and Product Owners, both ad-hoc and for common operations. Prepare reports for decision makers to benchmark our products, operations, initiatives and more.

 

About you

You are a self-motivated driver that is passionate about delivering world-class customer experience based on data. You are not fearing a start-up environment with very few formal procedures and limits, rather the opposite, you are embracing the challenge in getting them in place. Right now we are looking for a colleague who has above entry level experience, meaning that you will need to have worked as a Data Analyst for a minimum of a couple of years before joining us. We value people who are eager to learn and regardless if you’ve worked as a consultant or at a product company, you are the kind of developer who realizes that in order to build products that are loved by users, you need to stay ahead of the curve and try new things.

Beyond the obvious we would like to see evidence of the following when reviewing your profile;

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in information management systems, computer science, computer engineering, or in a related discipline. 

  • Extensive experience with analytical and quantitative problem solving using advanced statistical techniques.

  • Experience in building and deploying ML models at scale, and very strong data engineering skills considered a plus..

  • Excellent Python, R & data retrieving skills for data manipulation, modeling and scripting.

  • Prior experience of data pipelining and cloud-based ML model deployment is considered a plus.

  • Knowledge of deep learning, neural networks, stream processing and time-series analysis.

  • Strong customer focus, a commercial mindset and innate curiosity.

  • Passion for machine learning, software architecture and best practices.

  • Experience with optimization algorithms is a plus

  • Ability to understand structured, semi-structured, unstructured and streaming data.
