ONEiO is an integration service provider helping companies collaborate without complex technical integration projects. We have built the world’s first Integration Automation Platform that automates many of the development tasks related to a successful integration project. We are disrupting the market of established iPaaS products and we have several well-known customers to back up our claims. The likes of Bayer, Volkswagen, Atos and CGI all trust us to deliver them enterprise-scale integrations.
Our current client base consists of companies in Europe, USA and partners around the globe.
The CFS stream produces the functionalities that help our external and internal customers to create and operate their integrations.
As a new member of our QA Guild, you will be able to suggest, implement and improve appropriate testing methodologies, approaches and tools to keep our service’s high quality, company-wide.
Our developers are test-driven and write a lot of unit and component integration tests for both back- and front-ends, but they will appreciate mentoring and knowledge-sharing from a true QA professional.
What are our QA activities and responsibilities:
QA Workflow: we of course have the usual QA activities like adding and checking bug reports, proposing the Acceptance Criteria, writing regression tests and asking all those punctilious questions to puzzle team members. Same time we’re working closely with development and support teams during all phases of the software lifecycle, ready to help at any time.
QA Work Practices (or Procedures): we’re performing session-based activities like bug reviews or test reviews to keep the context. We’re performing Tests Pair Coding sessions with developers, they are always willing to help us with the advice.
End-to-End Tests: we’re choosing the tools and approaches to write and maintain e2e tests. At this moment we are using the Cypress tool and Typescript programming language for UI-based and API-based tests.
QA Strategy: we have an opportunity to discuss and define our main strategic goals and tasks. We’re open for any ideas and suggestions from everyone.
What we expect from you:
Self-motivation, critical thinking and focus on the continuous improvement of what you’re involved in;
Bachelor or Master degree in STEM field or successful self-studies of the same value;
A short cover letter where you describe the funniest bug you've seen and how it was discovered.
Our technology stack (we will be glad to see your knowledge in the following):
Tens of microservices, hosted in AWS, using Kubernetes
We use Kotlin/Java and Typescript as main programming languages, Spring as the back-end and Angular as the front-end frameworks
We use MongoDB and Kafka to work with data
We use Jenkins, New Relic, Papertrail and PagerDuty for Operations
And for process/teamwork we use Jira, Slack, Confluence, Bitbucket, ONEiO (yeah, our own dogfood ;))
