Thriv is a Helsinki-based tech talent agency that is a part of the Futurice family. We operate within the booming tech freelance market and manage a pool of over 500 experienced freelance developers. We source and provide hand-picked projects for our freelancers so they can focus on what they like doing best.  

Role overview

Heads up everybody! The talent pool of Thriv is expanding quickly, which is why we are now looking for a Talent Specialist to join our growing team. In this exciting role combining both HR and technology, your responsibility is to attract new developers to join our talent pool and match-make them with their dream project. You are also responsible for keeping the talents already in our network informed, inspired, and as happy as a clam.

• Identifying opportunities on how to grow our talent network

• Meeting and onboarding potential new talents

• Supporting our developers with their freelancing journey 

• Planning engaging activities and events for our developers

• Raising awareness of Thriv among developers

About you

• A strong desire and motivation to help others – at Thriv we care about talents big time <3

• A natural people-person, with an uncanny ability to connect with our developers

• Strong interest in technology, a background within software development is a +++!

• Familiarity with the IT industry

• We are not micro-managers – so strong initiative is essential

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

• Outstanding communication skills in English, Finnish is a plus but not necessary

For example, you could be someone who has worked in the people team of a technology company, and have spent time recruiting or engaging developers. You could also be a recent software engineering graduate who is passionate about building community. Or you could be none of the above – what we really want is someone who loves building positive relationships with all manner of folk (especially techies) and a big drive to learn more about this fast paced field.

Compensation: 3300 - 4000 euros based on experience. We’re flexible about hiring, and finding someone who is the best fit is what’s important to us.
