About Captego

For 4 years we have been developing an innovative visual data collection solution that transforms operations and analytics within any organisation that carries out inspections. 

Our customers believe that what we do is unique and we love the fact that every one of our customers has renewed their Captego subscription every year. 

We are a Danish company that’s growing quickly throughout Europe. We have entities in the UK and Europe, a remote team spread throughout most of Europe and it won’t be long before we have customers in new European markets. 

We use English for all of our internal communication. We don’t mind where in Europe you’re based or what time you get out of bed, we only care that you want Captego to be a success as much as our customers do. 

What we’re looking for

An experienced developer with at least 3-5 years working with GraphQL server and Node.js, Cloud functions and ideally Google Cloud Platform experience. 

You can build a good data architecture and you have built internal and customer facing APIs before. You’re used to working in a remote environment, focusing on solutions,  and having autonomy to make decisions that influence the product and the dev team directly. 

Responsibilities

• You’ll work in a small team of developers scaling up a next-generation data collection solution 

• You’ll be developing the backend at the core of our solution, developing new features; identifying, fixing and testing bugs

• Attending remote Developer meetings when required

Our dev team

You will be working with our remote team of 4 developers, CTO and product owner (with over 100 years of combined experience) and we will have your back when you need it. The dev team is based in the UK and Europe and so our time zones are GMT and CET. 

Our developers have laid the groundwork for us to scale the dev team throughout 2022 and this is the first new dev role of many we will be recruiting for.

Process

1. Initial call (10 mins) to answer your questions and understand your skills

2. Technical chat (30-45 mins) with our CTO. We meet on Zoom.

3. Meet the Team (30ish mins) with our dev team to get to know one another before the decision and offer.
