Hunome (Hunomics Ltd) helps humanity make sense of itself. We are a startup and commercially experienced team of 5 FTE, with diverse backgrounds and nationalities.

We are at an exciting stage in our journey, having launched Hunome in Q2 2021.
We’re now looking for a hands-on Marketing Generalist whose passion for doing things differently will help us super-charge our marketing funnel.
From growth hacking, storytelling, to organic social, community building and SEO, and even some product marketing and event planning, you will support all areas of the Hunome marketing function. A background in visual and copy, perhaps from the advertising services industry would be great.
Your broad marketing skill set, ability to think outside the box, and a keen understanding of our product and audiences, will help us drive traction at our early stage.
Responsibilities:
Working as a pivotal member of the growth team developing and implementing ideas for traction that are suitable for our early adopter audience
Creatively developing our story and expressing our message via the appropriate channels
Providing a marketing perspective to product roadmap and delivering product marketing activities
Building and nurturing the Hunome community
Optimizing our on and offline brand by leveraging long tail SEO
Advising on and managing both online and offline events
Driving email marketing campaigns
Managing and contributing to the Hunome website
Plugging into analytics to monitor and report on performance, shaping ongoing marketing activity
Skills:
Generalist skills set in marketing, including growth hacking, storytelling, community building, SEO and event planning
A passion to do things differently and the ability to develop and tailor ideas appropriate for Hunome
Exemplary written English - you will be asked to provide examples of your written work if you are invited to interview
Analytical mindset with the ability to draw conclusions from the numbers
Hunger to develop and manage your own workload based on the business and marketing priorities
A good grasp of marketing tools such as WordPress, GA, Hootsuite, MailChimp, Hubspot preferable
Visual and copy skills perhaps gained in the advertising services industry

Working Conditions:
20hrs per week on average*, arranged flexibly
Remote team - many living outside Finland
English is our working language
At the moment, we cannot be a sponsor of a work permit. If you wish to work in Finland, applicants should hold a work permit valid until (at least) late 2023.
*Please Note:
The team benefits from a direct equity ownership in the company, in return for a minimum of 20hrs per week commitment for sufficient focus to become successful in the role. Once Hunome is ready to pay the salary, you would become 100% focused on the business. This means that you can build your startup career while earning a living in a day job or other part-time work, thus de-risking your entry to a startup with very big plans (NB: a contract with a big IT services firm may exclude you from this offer)
