About Åpenhet

Åpenhet is a Norwegian GovTech based in Oslo and Paris. We specialize in good-governance and data driven policy making. We build modern web-based tools to provide transparent, accessible and reliable data to civil society organizations and policy makers.

These tools help raise awareness and increase outreach for our partners' activities on topics that we care about such as education, environment, EU cooperation and public integrity. After a few years of starting up, testing out and working on diverse projects, we are now entering a new phase of our development. We want to increase our capacity to create high quality designs and imagine new ways of visualizing data to provide impactful storytelling for policy recommendations and research.

About the role

As UX/UI Designer at åpenhet, your role would be crucial for the future development of the company. You would be in charge of helping us come up with innovative data visualizations and informational visuals for the various projects we are involved in. You will also be in charge of helping us refine our visual identity and streamline the look and feel of our deliverables. This position involves being in direct contact with our clients and planning user research interviews when necessary, so good communication and organization skills really are important.

The position can be fully remote but we would love for you to join us either in Oslo or in Paris!

Skills & qualifications

• Creative and comfortable taking initiatives;

• Autonomous;

• Experience with data visualization;

• Experience with web design & accessibility;

• Proficient with Figma;

• Excellent English & communication skills;
