We're now looking for a talented and passionate QA Engineer, who will have a great impact on making this possible.

As a QA Engineer, you will be working closely with product managers, engineering teams, and tech support. At Airtame it is the QA Engineer's word that decides whether we release.

If you enjoy conscious exploratory testing, love to break things, and want to write a bit of code on the way — you are welcome on board!

The first six months

• Gradually become Subject Area Expert in one, or some of our products and projects

• Own the QA aspect of the whole Software Development Lifecycle on these projects, from the ideation stage through feature design, implementation and regression testing

• Create test design and test documentation for upcoming features

• Run exploratory testing sessions on existing functionality

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Good communication skills (in English)

• Strong proficiency in efficient test design (identify use and mis-use cases, understand risk, do prioritization)

• Confidence to work autonomously (being comfortable with planning, prioritizing, re-prioritizing, estimating and scheduling your own workload)

• Experience and/or willingness working in a geographically distributed remote team (Team in Europe)

• Proactiveness and a can-do attitude

• Delivery-oriented mindset

Technical competencies

• Understanding when it's worth to go for automation, and when to do manual testing instead

• Understanding of CI/CD concept

• Hands on experience with API testing:

  • HTTP/curl/Postman

• Some automation experience

• Ability to read code

• QA process optimization
