Wanna be a part of making the world a friendlier place? We’re Speedfriending, a small startup that’s part event company, part tech company. We enable people to find new, meaningful friendships. We do this primarily through our Speedfriending events, of which we’ve now held close to 200. Speedfriending is the fun and social twin sister of speed dating, where the goal is to find new friends. We’re also taking Speedfriending into the digital sphere, and you can find our app in the App Store and Google Play.

We are currently looking for someone who can help make sure the event-side of our operations runs smoothly. You’ll manage contact with our partners, make sure we have people to host events and work with SoMe Manager to coordinate event marketing. You’ll also be involved in the recruitment of event hosts, and if you’d like to help be involved as a host yourself, that is a big plus. 

We’re also looking for someone to take lead on managing our amazing community of event hosts, and making sure that Speedfriending is the friendliest organization you could be involved with, also internally. This responsibility does not have to lie with the Event Manager, but the two roles can easily be combined, and it would be a plus if you’re also interested in taking this on.

In this role you will:

• Be the main responsible for coordinating our Speedfriending events

• Work together with our partners, marketing manager and event hosts to ensure we create great events

• Work on recruitment of people for the event-side of our operations

• Be a sparring partner for the rest of the team on all kinds of other topics and decisions

• Have some experience organizing and coordinating events and/or people
