Wanna be a part of making the world a friendlier place? We’re Speedfriending, a small startup that’s part event company, part tech company. We enable people to find new, meaningful friendships. We do this primarily through our Speedfriending events, of which we’ve now held close to 200. We’re also building the new match-making app for friendships, and you can find our app in the App Store and Google Play.
Right now, we are looking for someone who can help us on a part-time basis with our social media presence and the marketing of the event side of our business. And in the not too distant future - once we have the funding in place to go full throttle with the commercialization of our app - maybe you’re even someone who might want to step up as the CMO for an emerging social tech platform?
In this role you will:
Be the main responsible for posting in our social media channels
Create marketing content for these channels and our web page
Set up a marketing plan, with a schedule for the specific posts
Manage messages/communication on our platforms
Contribute to building the Speedfriending brand
Be a sparring partner for the rest of the team on all kinds of other topics and decisions
If we expand our scope, we’ll soon need someone who can:
Be in charge of the overall marketing efforts of Speedfriending
Be in charge of recruitment of future marketing hires
Help with market segmentation and go-to-market strategies
Help commercialize and grow Speedfriending as a digital social platform
Connect and build strategic relationships with relevant influencers and partners
We think you:
Are fluent in Norwegian
Have a job or are currently studying, and you’re looking for a part-time engagement to supplement this, with potential for a bigger involvement in the future
Are based in, or close to, Oslo
Are a genuine and caring person who shares our motivation to solve loneliness and enable friendship and community
Are creative, and think marketing should be fun and profound, not generic and superficial
Have experience in content production and social media marketing
Are self-driven and can appreciate the somewhat chaotic nature of a small startup
Are interested in building a wholesome company culture
As a part of our team, you'll get:
The hustle of an early-stage startup, with the possibility of high growth and global impact
A challenging experience with a steep learning curve
An opportunity to help solve one of society's biggest challenges
Flexible working hours that can easily be combined with studies or other jobs
Salary to be negotiated based on the scope of the engagement
This job comes with several perks and benefits
