HQ is on Östermalmsgatan 26 (we have or own office space at A House).

Syncc is a social music app that allows you to listen to music together in real-time and discover music from real people instead of algorithms. The platform works as an effortless marketing tool for artists and tastemakers to engage and interact with their audience. 

We are looking for an iOS developer responsible for the development and maintenance of the Syncc application for iOS. You will be working alongside other developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

Required skills

• Proficient with Swift

• Proficient understanding of Git

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and websockets to connect iOS applications to back-end services

• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Audio etc.

• Familiarity with push notifications

Additional skills which are appreciated

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards

• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred

• Experience with performance and memory tuning

• Experience in working with WebRTC
