The company

Apacta is an ambitious SaaS company providing a platform for easy administration of craftsmen businesses.

Our products consist of a successful online platform for the business owner to administer the complete craftsman business including integrations to accounting systems, salary systems, vendor management, price matching algorithms, etc. together with a mobile app for the craftsman in the field for easy time registration, handling of materials, quality assurance, etc.

By digitizing their business processes with Apacta, our customers save up to 67% of their time spent weekly on paperwork and save 25% on their purchases of building materials.

Our users love performing their crafts and we love helping them with all the cumbersome tasks like project management, time registrations, logging used materials, documentation, etc.

The job

We believe in a user-centered design approach where new capabilities are developed from customer discovery and collected data to make the most informed product decisions.

You will be working in our Products team together with other product professionals – senior frontenders, product manager and our Head of Product. You will be our product designer.

You will be part of the discovery phase where we interview customers both in the field and online, make and test prototypes, receive feedback and use the data to develop design solutions for both web and mobile that will improve their work-life and grow their businesses.

Our product work processes are product-led and heavily influenced by books like “Inspired”, “Escaping the Build Trap”, “Continuous Discovery Habits”.

Specific tasks you will be working on

• Develop prototypes and mockups for user testing

• Participate in user interviews and testing together with the product manager and the developers

• Develop a design system with a coherent layout and structure

• Design our interfaces for web and mobile

• Collaborate with our development team together with the product manager

We are looking for a colleague with the following profile

• Skilled within UX/UI design for both mobile and desktop

• Enjoying working structured with design

• Sense of detail and aesthetics

• Experienced with SaaS

• Can show us a portfolio – UI, design systems, etc.

We speak both Danish and English, but most of our users are Danish so speaking or understanding this will be an advantage.

We are located in Aalborg and would prefer a colleague for this role who can be present at the office often with our Products team. However, we do work distributed both remotely and hybrid/WFH.
