Who we are

We are Aline-Learn Better and the platform we are building gives individuals and companies a new, more accurate way to structure their learning and validate their knowledge. Our stack will be constantly iterated throughout the summer and beyond as we onboard our first paying customers.

Our company was founded in 2020 by three Stockholm-based co-founders and has grown to include a diverse team of talents from all over the world (some remote, some in Stockholm) and is now searching for a Backend Developer to support our CTO in achieving our ambitious growth plans.

Who we are looking for

As a Backend Developer, you would be part of a small team responsible for the implementation and operation of the architecture of our mobile app. As a team member, you will be coached and trained to build and ship high-end Android and iOS apps together with our current developers and CTO.

If you are willing to learn, we are prepared to provide the tools and guidance to develop the app from its MVP into a final product. By doing so, you can scale up as the product grows. Take your developer skills to the next level and open up new career opportunities with this great opportunity.

Requirements

The platform is built on microservice architecture which means that it’s good if you are familiar with API gateways, load balancing and other cloud techniques but not required. We are looking for candidates with experience in NodeJS, Python, or GO, but we examine every application as our ultimate goal is to hire the right person.

Additionally, if you gain experience with any of the above-mentioned techniques (or already have), you may get the chance to join our Microservices team down the line.

Details

Location - Flexible - We are based in Stockholm, Sweden, but we're building a remote team

Length - 3-6 months with the possibility to continue

Start date - As soon as possible, but we are flexible if you have other commitments

Pay - Unpaid internship
