As the first Performance Marketing Director, you have a chance to make be the person to lead our performance marketing efforts in the go-to-market phase internationally, driving digital awareness and demand generation. It’s a great chance to grow along with the rest of the Mobalers.
The Performance Marketing Director is going to be responsible for all the performance marketing efforts, taking our product to market internationally, and supporting global sales with an increased sales pipeline. The responsibilities are across different marketing functions, with paid media at the heart. Because of the wide range of responsibilities and large-scale expansion, this role requires deep knowledge and experience, to create the winning campaigns and to bring out the best in each team member. The Marketing Team at Mobal consists today of two Mobalers located in Helsinki, which the Performance Marketing Director will have in their team and the team is constantly growing.
Get hands dirty, build and manage large marketing campaigns through different paid channels while controlling KPIs, owning the paid media strategy
Experiment aggressively and be able to prioritize efforts that drive subscribers to the product
Synthesize Go-to-market plans and create paid-media blueprints, which impact the revenue objectives
Manage and monitor marketing spending on a daily basis - making every dollar count
Manage global multi-channel performance marketing
Building feedback loops for paid marketing campaigns. Excellence in documenting targets and results
Profit and loss monitoring responsibility
Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure that the marketing efforts align with the product development, simply being the voice of the customer internally to guide the product
Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure the smooth transition of pre-sales to sales executives
Driving growth through product-led growth metrics
Mentor and support the whole marketing team to help every team member grow
Ownership of key marketing partners (Google, Facebook..)
Proactively developing the marketing department of Mobal.io, as we expand quickly globally.

Get stuff done and hands-on approach
5+ years of related marketing experience
Understand product-led growth in SaaS and how to drive both long and short term KPIs
Deep knowledge in demand gen / paid media
Deep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CPM, and LTV
Deep understanding of organic and paid marketing channels
Being able to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations for the leadership team
Experience in being responsible for larger marketing budgets
Hunger to develop yourself in a hyper-growing startup environment
Fluent in English
