Join our team as a Market Researcher Intern.

About the Role

As a Market Research Intern at WasteHero, you'll be an important part of the early sales process, analyzing market potential across our target segments to fuel the commercial team with prospects. You'll work closely with our Executive Sales Director, AEs and BDR, leveraging our playbook manual to guide your workflows. You'll learn from leaders with decades of experience, whilst having the opportunity to influence processes and strategy. 

Responsibilities

• Convert market analysis of our target segments into prospect lists for our sales team

• Provide 360 ​​reports on the prospects to help the sales team with context to match pain points with product features

• Communicate closely with the sales team to constantly refine outreach processes and ensure continuous improvement of our strategy

• Meticulously manage and update the data pipelines of our CRM to ensure alignment throughout the team

• Share general market knowledge gained through your role to the sales / marketing team

If you want hands-on experience into how a SaaS sales organization functions and scales within both B2G and B2B markets, this is the position for you. You'll gain invaluable skills that will complement anyone looking to build a strong commercial profile.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and logical and critical thinking

• Passion for sustainable technologies

• Develop acumen for search engines, web analytics and business research tools

• Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor or Master Degree

• Fluent in English - written and spoken

• Open-minded and always pushing towards innovative ideas

• Can work in a spontaneous and dynamic atmosphere where they are commonly faced with split-second decisions

What you need to know

The internship is unpaid and full-time to fit with your University's requirements. The internship runs for five to six months, depending on your needs. We are always interested in hiring interns afterwards, either as student workers or full-time employees, so there are plenty of opportunities for work after the internship, based on performance.

Start date:  between August - September 2022

Duration:  between five to six months
