We're looking for an intern to further progress the endeavour.

We provide a B2C and B2B marketplace platform (SaaS) in the automobile industry, focusing on hybrid- and electric cars. You don't have to be knowledgeable in the auto industry but good at the tech part, an avid learner and curious for answers and solutions.

As one of our next steps, we are collecting data and developing a recommendation engine. This is what the candidate will work on:

• Look into the collection, prepping and storing of data - regional (e.g. Europe), national (by country) and by locality (neighbourhood). Different and multiple sources.

• Look into the API(s) to discuss adequacy of data collection.

• Develop recommendation engine with the team.

• Review, test and improve the technology.

We expect you to bring technical knowledge and possibly experience to the team. You will, to some extent, have be independent.

We expect you to be knowledgeable around technologies handling data.

We also expect you to be comfortable when there is no map or path to walk on and you're the one, with the guidance of the team, who has to lay it out. Don't panic, we are sure you will do fine.

Responsibilities

• Review the collection, prep'ing and storing of data.

• Develop recommendation engine.

• Help develop analytics.

• Help develop dashboards.

• Strengthen a well-functioning database and application for data handling.

• Test and improve the recommendation engine.

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade.

• Discuss security and data protection.

• Work with algorithms, data management, Machine Learning and AI.

Expectations

• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
