The aquaculture industry is the rapidly growing food source and livelihood for billions of people across the globe. Still, it faces the challenge of covering vast areas and making decisions with outdated information.
Our international and dynamic team solves the global data gathering challenges using space technology to deliver a cloud-based platform with valuable insights to our customers, empowering businesses to increase efficiency and make sustainable decisions. We are currently hiring a Business Developer to develop and establish Dynaspace’s position internationally in the aquaculture industry. You will be responsible for reaching out to customers, working closely with the CEO and the Commercial Officer to implement the go-to-market strategies.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with solid communication skills and the ability to understand a client’s needs and challenges. You are comfortable with leading high value commercial processes, from establishing relationships with key stakeholders to closing final contract negotiations.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify opportunities and evaluate customer needs
Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
Identify, find and contact prospective users and partners
Collaborate with the team to develop, refine pitch and sales materials
Interact with the product and design team to enhance the customer experience
Create frequent reviews and reports with sales data to share with internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
B2B and/or B2G international sales experience
Proven track record from outbound sales, and hands-on experience with CRM systems
Experience in pro-actively building and handling international sales
Five (5) years of sales experience in aquaculture
Language requirement: Fluent in English (both written and verbally)
A degree in Business Administration or related field
Experience in working with early and growth-stage startups is a plus

Competitive salary (based on candidate’s experience level)
The role is structured as a permanent position and the candidate will be based in Bergen or Oslo. International travel is expected
