WeTal matches tech talent with jobs like Tinder. We are a backed tech startup in central Stockholm with a team of 9 people who are now looking for a COO to support in management, and join our journey as our next step is to expand internationally and enter the scale-up phase.

Your work assignments:

• Support the CEO to set frameworks, goals, vision and strategy for the company

• The face "inward" company, ie responsibility for leading staff, recruiting new talent, 1: 1 conversations with the team, arranging activities, etc.

• Hold daily reconciliation meetings with the team to drive the business forward

• Help with everything related to accounting / legal

• Support the CEO at investment meetings

• The CEO of the company is responsible for the tech team, COO is happy to have more experience of business development, sales or marketing. We are happy to see that you train staff and do tasks hands on.

• You should preferably have experience of having led staff before, and worked in startups.

Work style

As managers at WeTal, we work 50/50 overall but also "hands on". Even if managers try to delegate simpler tasks downwards, we cut where it is needed. We see you as a hungry and driven individual who is happy to roll up his sleeves.

Like the CEO role, the COO is hard to say to describe your exact background. But we believe that you should have proven competence, experience and willingness to have climbed in other companies and have the ambition to lead businesses forward, as well as shown interest in building companies. For us, the most important thing is a proven drive and motivation.
