⭐️ About the role

We are now looking for a driven individual with an ambition to build and grow the finance function as Alexis keeps growing and enters new markets. You will oversee all financial aspects of our business and advise on best practices within finance, accounting, operations and investment strategies. The role of the financial manager includes operational, tactical, and strategic tasks. Hopefully, you'll also build a team and take on a leadership role with time.

What you'll do:

• Build and develop the finance function, and be responsible for our company's finances, accounting, and cash flow. 

• Drive the financial planning and analysis, like the budget process, forecasting, follow-ups and current state, to provide financial insights.

• Manage and develop the invoicing process, focusing some extra on international payments.

• Manage ad hoc requests within the financial area to support the organization in financial matters.

• Create reports for the CEO, management team, and the board.

• Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting and accounting process, including looking for new regulations, allowance, tax reliefs, or similar things relevant to the company. 

For us, you'll play a key role in enhancing the company's overall market position and improving our financial strategy. You'll be reporting to Nima, CEO and founder, and collaborate closely with the rest of the leadership team at Alexis. 

👉 About you

Your experience and knowledge

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial controlling

• Proficient use of Excel and preferably other financial management software

• Fluent in English, and preferably knows some Swedish as well. 

• Bonus points if you have experience working in a fast-growing start-up in the SaaS industry with good knowledge of operations and investment strategies

• Analytical and dependable, able to move from details to a holistic view and back again. Since we are in the building phase, we need to look at future ways of operating from different perspectives. 

• Great at taking initiatives and understanding what needs to be done since part of your responsibility is to build the financial function from scratch. 

• Receptive and open to change. We hope you quickly adapt to new situations, learn from experience, and apply your learnings to develop skills and performance. Since we are a growing start-up, things tend to move fast. 

• Interested in leadership since you'll probably eventually build a team.
