Have you ever tried to calculate how many days you can say bye-bye to the office and lay on the beach? Or did you ever ask yourself why we only get paid once a month? This lack of control over our work is why we are building PayZlip.

Together with two experienced mentors, and as an important part of a small team, you get to use newest technologies to move an entire market and redefine how we get paid for our work.

Your opportunity

Grow our product and grow yourself. By working with our two developers Eric & Mattias, you can learn from two mentors with experience ranging from Huawei to building a gaming engine. And as an early member of our team of nine, you will be involved and have a say in everything from feature-discussions to overall product strategy.

Change an entire market

We use principles such as TDD, event sourcing and microservices to build a platform that brings employees transparency and control over their work, automates the entire payroll process and allows new ways of paying salaries with On Demand Pay.

As a developer at PayZlip, you have a chance to move an entire legacy-market by working cross-stack with both our React frontends, our mobile Flutter applications and our microservices and APIs, written in Nest.js. We also make heavy use of automated testing and deployments.

What's important

We are looking for you who is interested in new technology and wants to be constantly challenged to learn new things. We also believe that you are just as comfortable working with APIs and backends as you are with React and frontends. You don't need to know everything about microservices, event sourcing or mobile development, but we believe that you're someone with the appetite, ability and drive to learn these skills.

Expected knowledge:

 ·        JavaScript and TypeScript, including build tools such as webpack.

·        Version control with Git

·        Previous experience with React

·        Previous experience with Node.js and express or equivalent framework

·        Previous knowledge about testing on some level (unit testing, e2e etc.)

Qualifying knowledge:

 ·        Dart & Flutter

·        Previous experience with Nest.js

·        Devops and AWS (CDK and CloudFormation) knowledge

·        Experience with EventStoreDB

·        Previous experience with CQRS, Event sourcing and microservices

·        Previous experience with testdriven development

·        CI/CD experience (Github Actions)

The work setting

We work both at our modern office in central Helsingborg as well remote. We believe that you know best when and where you are most productive, but we would love to see you at the office every now and then. (Coffee included)
