The new marketing analyst position is a specialist role for an experienced and highly analytical person with a relentless drive to quantify, analyse and truly understand markets and consumer behaviour, applying the full range of available digital tools and methods.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Ecommerce, you will be collaborating with your colleagues in the marketing team, as well as across sales, operations, product development and management.
We expect you to be action-oriented and self-sufficient, but there will also be resources available for remote consultants and required tools of your choice.
We are looking for you to help us accelerate our growth by refining our understanding of the answers to questions like:
Who are our customers? What is their demographics and psychographics, and how can we improve our understanding of them using concepts like segmentation and personas?
What are our customers' behaviour when interacting with us and our products and services throughout their customer journey?
Why are our customers choosing us and not? What are their subjective opinions, experiences and emotions relating to us and our products and services?
How are our current marketing efforts performing?
...and based on the above and more, where are our most promising untapped markets, geographically as well as demographically?
In this role at Exxentric, your main responsibilities will include to:
Refine our marketing research objectives:
Drive the refining and development of our marketing research objectives in collaboration with key internal stakeholders
Define corresponding requirements for primary and secondary data
Manage data acquisition and maintenance:
Validate, aggregate and structure our existing primary customer data (from our CRM, ERP, Google Analytics, etc)
Plan, execute and analyse customer surveys, using internal tools and/or external service providers
Identify required secondary data sources
Manage performance monitoring & reporting:
Drive the process to develop our marketing KPI:s in collaboration with key internal stakeholders
Maintain, validate and develop our marketing performance dashboards
Present recent performance in regular evaluation meetings
Analyse our market:
Analyse our growing base of customer and market data and knowledge to identify market opportunities
Assist from time to time in competitor analyses, pricing strategy, advertising tactics, website optimisation, product development and more
To be able to perform in this role, we believe that your profile includes, in terms of...
Competence:
An academic degree with an analytical profile, probably in marketing and/or statistics, but it could also be e.g. in finance, mathematics or engineering as long as you have gained a good general understanding of marketing research elsewhere
Full business fluency in English. Swedish and further major languages are a plus.
Knowledge of platforms such as Zoho CRM, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, SurveyMonkey and Cint is beneficial
Experience:
Experience from working successfully in a relevant analyst role in at least a couple of years, ideally within marketing research
Experience from working with customer surveys or other research surveys, personally or in collaboration with survey service providers
Personality:
Strong analytical quantitative mindset, attention to detail
Ability to quickly understand and learn technical concepts and tools to integrate, manage and analyse data.
