As our new Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be a crucial contributor towards growing our software research and development team and other parts of our business to achieve our vision of a revolution in after-sales.
You are already living in or planning to move to Finland (relocation services not provided). Ideally, you are currently based in or can move to the Helsinki metropolitan area, although you may also work remotely from time to time.
You will be responsible for:
Proactively sourcing candidates with minimal reliance on external recruiters, ensuring an effective and efficient hiring process for hiring new talent into technical roles;
Taking ownership of recruiting new technical talent for software R&D and ensuring an excellent candidate experience, end-to-end, from job advertisements to contracting;
Developing our recruitment strategy to source, attract, and recruit software engineering and related technical talent in Finland and internationally by working hand in hand with our CTO and other relevant hiring managers and parts of the business requiring technical expertise e.g., data science and technical support;
Working with these same internal stakeholders to identify hiring needs, plan new roles, create job descriptions, estimate lead times, and plan budgets according to company requirements;
Measuring the performance of various sourcing channels, including email, LinkedIn, and different job listing sites, and optimizing the quality and cost of candidate applications;
Working with a variety of recruitment tools to create candidate pipelines;
Screening candidates and conducting preliminary interviews using standardized or customized screening tools so that only the best fits are sent on to hiring managers for interviewing;
Making an impact on the organization by ensuring we have a steady supply of talented individuals who are passionate about the company and building and supporting excellent products and services;
Developing and reinforcing our company values and culture.
A positive, solution-focused, resilient attitude and the ability to work well with people from different cultures;
A proven track record of sourcing high-quality technical talent for the software development industry;
Experience delivering and innovating within fast-paced, dynamic start-ups experiencing rapid growth;
Experience in working independently and proactively to develop suitable processes;
4+ years of experience as a recruiter in a fast-growing environment (in-house or agency);
Hands-on experience working with Workable or other ATS software;
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
Excellent organizational skills and a strong focus on detail and results;
The skills and network to build and grow a strong talent acquisition pipeline of software developers and other technical experts;
Knowledge of Finnish employment law.
