FX Artist at Just For The Win

Just For The Win is an award-winning software development company that creates great gaming content focusing on video slots for mobile and desktop in the free to play and online gambling market. We aim to shape the content players play online.

About the role

We are looking for an FX Artist that will take on the challenge to continue to develop our animations in our games.You will be creating high-quality digital animation of the game icons, characters, dialogues UI and other gaming components used in game software. This position will work  closely with the Game Designers,  Art Director, and Programmers to create unique gaming content and entertaining products.  You will be working in the whole creative process from brainstorming to completion of our games.

All applicants must be eligible to work in Sweden.

Who are you? As you will work with multiple  teams and games, you are able to create different kinds of art styles and communicate well with your colleagues. You are keen to provide excellent work to many different teams. You will be the evangelist of FX Animation within the company and hopefully you will spread the joy of animation and special effects within the studio, and to our customers.

Therefore we believe that you have an excellent eye for art, self-motivated, structured and creative. We know we are asking for a lot, but we also know it will be rewarding working with us! 

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent skills in 2D Character/Effects Animation as well as Motion Graphics knowledge and skills  (Portfolio required)

• Experience in drawing and illustration

• Knowledge of Spine, Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.

• Create and animate characters, environments, and FX in different styles.

• Fluent in English

• Knowledge of optimization techniques to meet game and memory requirements.

• Understanding of the entire game development chain from game design to the final product
