THE ROLE
BLAST is looking to hire a Tournament Operations Assistant whose main responsibility is to help the Tournament Operations Manager with the day to day running of BLAST Premier. As BLAST Premier grows during 2022 and onwards the support from the Tournament Operations Assistant is of key importance to help us streamline our workflows and order to take our events to the next level. Responsibilities:
Senior Tournament Referee at all BLAST Premier events
Assist the Tournament Operations Manager on rulebooks and integrity policies for Premier
Assist the Tournament Operations Manager in hiring freelance Tournament Admins
Assist the Tournament Operations Manager with an overview of all equipment required to deliver Tournament Ops during BLAST Premier events. (including but not limited to inventory management and upgrades suggestions)
Assist the Tournament Operations Manager with team relations on tournament operations before, during and after BLAST Premier events (Including but not limited to refereeing, seeding and config collection)
Lead the Tournament Operations for all BLAST Premier Showdown Qualifiers
Lead the planning, management and delivery of all team practice room and Bootcamp setups
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of CSGO including servers
Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
Positive, proactive and friendly attitude
Ability to meet deadlines
The enthusiasm, passion and team ethic to ensure a successful delivery as an individual or as part of a team
Confidence to bring your experience and ability to the team
