About Codeasy

Have you tried to learn how to code online? Many do nowadays, and most of the courses are not designed for a complete beginner. They either assume prior knowledge in programming or are too dry and hard to follow for a person, who has never touched the tech field before.

We created Codeasy with a mission to help people fill the gaps in the growing IT jobs market. It could be students, job switchers or even people who want to jump from one IT-related job to another. (Like, for example, QA to Software Developer).

To make Codeasy fun and addictive we introduced an adventure story along with programming lessons. To learn how to code, our users travel into the future and save the world from the invasion of aggressive machines, and they love it!

You will never learn how to swim by reading a book about swimming. The same applies to programming. Codeasy consists of practice on 80%. Right after learning a piece of theory, you put it into practice by coding directly in the browser and get the solution automatically checked.

As of today, Codeasy has a C# programming course with 41 lessons and 223 practical tasks, hundreds of monthly active users, and 600+ daily visits.

About me

My name is Dmytro and I'm the CEO of Codeasy. 6 years ago I moved to Sweden from Ukraine and it was programming, that opened the door to a new life for me. For over a decade I've been working in different companies, gaining experience, and climbing the career ladder. At some point, my wife decided to become a programmer too. That's when I've started to look around in order to help her where to start and to my huge surprise, despite lots of courses available, none of them was designed for complete beginners. As many programmers do, I said "I can do it better" and this was the day Codeasy was born.

At first, Codeasy was a hobby project, made during the long Swedish evenings. Gradually it attracted more and more attention, while I was changing my profile from a developer to an entrepreneur. I've finished Y Combinator startup school and Antler Stockholm Cohort 3. I've also gained founder experience being a co-founder of an e-commerce startup - a marketplace for industrial components.

Global digitalization and corona had only proven, that the need for IT specialists will grow for the next 10+ years. More and more of my friends and acquaintances are turning their faces to the field. It's time to move Codeasy to the next level and that's why I'm looking for a partner, and together we will get the investment and scale Codeasy.

What are you going to do?

• Develop and own our growth strategy.

• Take one of the key roles in strategy and business development.

• Continuously monitor and act on the marketing funnel.

• Work closely with CEO on fundraising.

• Build up a rockstar marketing team. 

We expect that you:

• Proven track record leading up the marketing for a consumer tech.

• Have experience of being a co-founder or working in an early startup.

• Are ready to work without salary till we close the round.

• Data-driven and speak CAC, LTV, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager fluently.

• Can easily move between strategic marketing planning and its execution.

• Have a proactive approach at work.

• Good with people.

• Fluent in English.

Big plus if you:

• Have worked in the e-learning industry.
