We are searching for an eager and ambitious Founder's Associate to partner with and directly support our Founder and CEO - Jonathan, as we rapidly become one of the fastest growing proptech companies in the Nordic markets. xNomad is on the forefront of the retail industry offering a digital marketplace for pop up spaces.
xNomad is a marketplace for popup stores that connects brands with unique retail & vacant pop up spaces.
There are at least 20.000 vacant spaces in Sweden right now and our goal is to fill these spaces with amazing pop up experiences. 1/12 spaces globally are estimated to be empty. Retail is currently going through a transformation and we at xNomad believe that pop-up is the future of retail.
We've been working with innovative and exciting brands such as Voi, Hedvig, Warner Bros, TanRevel, VanMoof and New Balance.
Working directly with xNomad’s founder and CEO, you will be supporting all aspects of operation finance, partnerships, fundraising, and much more.
Day to day, you will focus on the following:
Finances: - Financial and operational analysis - Financial modelling - Setting and following up financial and operational targets - Financial controlling - Hubspot automations
Strategy - Work collaboratively with the executive team and key functions to define the next level of detail and execute on our strategic roadmap.
- Identify, analyse, and recommend strategic opportunities (business models, competitors, potential acquisitions, etc) - Work collaboratively with the executive team and key functions to define the next level of detail and execute on our strategic roadmap
- Work directly under the CEO on high priority projects to support growth and solve problems across the whole organisation - Have autonomy to identify and dig into areas for improvement, using data- driven analysis as needed, and design a solution - Work closely with various teams across the company (e.g. Demand, Supply, Marketing, Product) to implement strategy, then track impact and iterate to continuously improve - Support with organisational structure, identify gaps and lead strategic hiring to fill those gaps - Conduct market analysis and track competitor information
Fundraising & Investor Relations - Draft and manage communications to investors on a quarterly and ad-hoc basis, to clearly articulate the business strategy and performance and inform effective executive decision-making - Work closely with Founder to create a strong fundraising strategy - Prepare fundraising materials such as pitch deck and operational models
A degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics or equivalent, Masters preferred.
3 years related experience in a start-up environment, consultancy or similar
A track record of being a high performer in various environments
You are a hyper-logical and structured thinker; you can break complex problems into smaller ones and enjoy working with data to facilitate your work
Curiosity and passion for problem-solving, with a strong appetite for growth and a can-do attitude
Collaborative working style with strong people-skills and experience working in teams under pressure
Able to navigate ambiguity and bring structure when needed
Able to work on multiple projects in parallel, across different functions of the business
Execution-orientated with a real sense of urgency
