What you’ll do

• Maintain our growing range of cloud-based services

• Keep an eye on a fleet of 700+ distributed cinema servers 

• Continuously strive to optimise our CI/CD environments for fast, frequent and safe deployments and observability

• Monitor all systems to ensure we're the first to know about any issues

• Be central in making the right stack decisions

You’ll be great for this role if you

• Care deeply about cloud agnostic infrastructure automation and configuration management

• Have solid experience with Google Cloud and/or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and Istio

• Have experience with Spinnaker or similar cloud-native deployment tools

• Have a strong understanding of the Linux operating system

• Are familiar with microservice patterns - perhaps Kafka too

• Are an automation freak: think Ubuntu autoinstall for fully automated headless installations physical machines just as much as automated deployment and scaling in the cloud

• Always have security in mind when architecting infrastructure

• Love to set up pipelines for hassle-free builds, tests and deployments

• Always strive to make it as easy as possible for everybody to deploy and scale: deployments should be frequent, rapid and as risk-free as possible

Even more so if you

• Have experience with one or more of the following languages/frameworks: JavaScript, Node.js, C#, .NET Core, Go or Python

Long shot

Many of our systems and much of our client hardware/software integrate with cinema automation systems. If you have experience with DCPs, audio formats or A/V systems in general we would love to get in touch too.

What does the recruitment process look like?

• About a half an hour introductory call: you’ll learn about Cinemataztic as a company and employer and we’ll learn about your expectations. 

• Technical coding task: we will send you a technical task to solve

• Technical interview: you’ll present how you solved the task and we will probably throw some technical questions at each other.

• We will take some time to evaluate your profile and get back to you with an answer.

• We might put a few short calls in between if any of us find it necessary.
