Textual is a unique platform for text generation that is used by online retailers to create and optimise product descriptions, category pages, ads and similar content for their websites. Textual also offers translation services for other types of digital and print content, e.g. newsletters, press releases, SoMe posts, product manuals, etc. Our clients are global companies such as John Lewis, Babyshop, Jollyroom, Royal Design, Focus Nordic, and others.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager - Quality Assurance to join our Translation Team. 

Role Summary

As a Project Manager - QA you will play an important role in helping our clients get the highest quality product possible. In this dynamic role, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with different teams and work on various types of QA projects. Your primary focus will be to improve the language and translation quality in the Textual platform.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate translation and QA projects - from project start to delivery and cost tracking.

• Monitor all projects and make sure that the deadlines and specifications are respected.

• Perform on-demand translation, review and QA tasks.

• Play an active role in the development of QA processes, and proactively suggest improvements.

• Maintain linguistic assets. Verify new terms and keep entries in the terminology databases up to date.

• Work closely with linguists. Prepare and maintain translation instructions.

• Support the translation manager in daily activities.

• Interact with team members and clients on linguistic matters as required. 

Essential Skills and Experience:

• A detail-oriented mindset is crucial for this role.

• You are genuinely interested in linguistics and are not afraid of learning new languages.

• You are fluent in at least three languages, ideally from different language families.

• Proficiency in English is a must. You have strong communication skills both verbal and written.

• You are well-organised, able to prioritise, and have good time management skills.

• You are able to develop a good working relationship with other team members, partners, and clients.

• Understanding of main concepts of the translation industry and CAT tools. 

• Very good Microsoft Office skills.

Desirable:

• Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Modern Languages, Communication, or similar.

• Experience in translation project management and CAT tools.

• Experience in terminology verification processes.
